Packing List


What should you bring with you? Good question! But a better question for this year's trip is what should you leave behind? Remember that all six of us are going in one vehicle, so luggage space is going to be tight. Below is a list of some items you might want to consider bringing. I am using this page as my packing list and though it would be helpful to you.

  • Ski Coat
  • Ski Pants (or warm layered pants)
  • Warm Gloves or Mittens
  • Ear Warmer, Hat, or Earmuffs
  • Skis (bring or rent in Colorado)
  • Ski Boots (bring or rent in Colorado)
  • Ski Poles (bring or rent in Colorado)
  • Ski Goggles
  • Thermal Underwear
  • Warm Socks (electric socks work)
  • Limited Change of Clothes
    - Please limit yourself to medium-size suitcase.
    - Hint: Wear outfits more than once.
    - Coin-Operated Washer & Dryer in Clubhouse.
  • Toiletries
    - Soap
    - Shampoo
    - Grooming Utensils (comb, shaver, etc.)
    - Dental Supplies (toothbrush, mouthwash, etc.)
    - Deodorant (please, oh please!)
  • FRS Two-Way Radio (Aaron's bringing four)
    - Be sure your radio has the privacy channels.
    - Don't forget the batteries!
  • Swim Trunks
  • Racquetball Racquet and Balls
  • Cigars and/or Accessories
    - Cigar Cutter
    - Lighter/Matches
    - Ashtray/Cigar Keeper-Case
    - Note: Condo is non-smoking.
  • Portable Snacks for the Slopes
    - PowerBars provide excellent energy.
  • Hand-Warmers
  • Ear Plugs (your roommate will snore!)
  • Camera

Condo Provides:


  • Cooking Utensils
  • Paper Products
  • Bed Linens
  • Towels and Washclothes
  • Wood for Fireplace

Aaron Bringing:


  • Condiment Packets
    - Ketchup
    - Mustard
    - Relish
    - Mayonaise
    - Sugar
    - Creamer
    - Salt
    - Pepper
    - Pancake Syrup
  • Four FRS Two-Way Radios
  • Three Headsets for Radios
  • Rechargable Batteries for Radios

Mike Bringing:


  • Cigars
  • Air Freshener for Bathroom
    - (says he doesn't plan on using the bathroom!)
  • Coolers?
    - Might not need them if we shop in Frisco.
  • Transportation
  • Beef Jerky? (Will the tradition continue?)
  • Movies
  • GPS System (for traveling)
  • FRS Two-Way Radios

Eric Bringing:


  • Portable Gas Grill
  • Propane for Grill
  • Plenty of Toothpicks!
